4/15/2024 0 Comments Add or subtract date calculatorYou see both the resulting date, and the day of the week (Sunday through Monday) it will be. For example, to see what day it will be in 10 days, enter "10" in the "Days to add" field before pressing "Calculate". Just enter the date you started taking your medication in the "Date" field and 10 in the "days to add" field of the add days calculator to learn the date after which you should go see your physician again.Ī typical use of a day adder is to check what day of the week it will be in a given number of days. In another example, maybe you were prescribed medication to take for 10 days, after which you need to visit your GP for evaluation of the treatment. You enter this date in the date field, then enter 14 in the "days to add" field and the day adder will tell you that you have until end of day on to return the product. Say you have a 14-day free return period and you know you made the purchase on Dec 20, 2017. If the time was given in business days, make sure to use our working days calculator instead!Īnother common case when you need to add days is when you want to return a purchase or make use of a guarantee for a given product. With this calculator for adding days, you can easily see when you can expect your furniture to be ready. Let's say you ordered custom furniture and you were given a 45-day completion term. Practical applications of adding daysĪdding days is useful in many everyday situations. It is easy to do with weeks (1 week = 7 days), but the other time measures have variable length so the exact number of days will vary depending on the calendar. With both days addition and subtraction, if the time interval is expressed in terms of weeks, months, years, or decades, it is first necessary transform these into a number of days before performing the operation. ![]() If we subtract 90 days from the result would be Nov 22, 2018. First, make sure the right date is entered in the date field and then write '-90' in the second field. Note that the same calculation in the year 2020 will yield since it is a leap year and February has 29 days.ĭespite its name, you can also use the add days calculator to subtract, for example, 90 days from a specific date. In this case the result would be Mar 22, 2019. If the date is different from the current one, let's say Feb 20, 2019, simply write it in the first field. If you wish to find out what date it will be 30 days from now, you just need to write the number '30' in the second field. ![]() The date format adjusts automatically depending on your browser locale settings. ![]() This add days calculator is a simple tool you can use when you need to add or subtract days to/from a specific date or in other words, to see which date it will be after N days have passed, or which date it was N days before any given date.

4/13/2024 0 Comments Beyonce jay z video louvre![]() “APESHIT” opens with a night shot of a crouching, winged man outside the Louvre. Directed by Ricky Saiz, who works as a designer for the streetwear brand Supreme, the six-minute clip shows “Queen Bey” and her husband take possession of the former royal palace, like the “music royalty” they are, and sing about having made it-financially but also by being inside this bastion of white cultural power: “I can’t believe we made it / This is what we’re thankful for.” Following its release, the music video quickly spread through social media, inevitably amassing a wealth of commentaries and exegeses in the process. It was subsequently released on Beyoncé’s official YouTube channel and made available through Jay-Z’s Tidal streaming service. The music video, which would be nominated Best Music Video at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in February 2019 and win Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, among other accolades, was first shown at the end of their second On the Run II Tour show at London Stadium on June 16, 2018, where it was followed by the announcement that a new album was out. In June 2018 Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z (together known as the musical duo the Carters) released their video clip “APESHIT” to announce and promote their new album, Everything Is Love. Exploring the ways in which the politics of proximity, contiguity, and access in “APESHIT” interface with those of representation to challenge the white colonialist narrative of the museum, this article seeks to understand how dancing affects the social space of the museum and what kind of knowledge dancing at the museum produces. ![]() ![]() For this, I focus on the music video “APESHIT” (2018) and bring rhetorical theory in dialogue with recent theory on proximity, to build on Mary Louise Pratt’s notion of the contact zone as a social space “where cultures meet, clash, and grapple with each other, often in contexts of highly asymmetrical relations of power, such as colonialism, slavery, or their aftermaths as they are lived out in many parts of the world today.” Filmed at the Musée du Louvre and released to promote the new album of R&B singer Beyoncé and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, the music video produces the art museum as a contact zone by bringing black dancers and singers into its space and staging relations between the performers and some of its iconic pieces. In this article, the rhetorical figure of parataxis will be developed as a concept to inquire into what happens when performers dance at the museum, and how such dancing can be an agent of social change. The curatorial turn, with its shift of attention from the individual (autonomous) artwork toward the exhibition and the role of the curator in its creation, has brought about a renewed focus on the museum as a political space a space for experimentation and for transformation, for knowledge creation, and for social regeneration. 4/13/2024 0 Comments Define intergenerational traumaExperiencing trauma can lead to maladaptive ways of coping with the unresolved emotions about the event. There are several ways that trauma can be passed on through generations. In other words, if an experience is overwhelming, unresolved, or significantly impacts one’s life, it can be transmitted to one’s children and then their children for generations. Intergenerational trauma (also known as transgenerational trauma or historical trauma) is trauma passed down through generations. Researchers believe that unresolved trauma can be passed on to their children and even their children’s children until the cycle is broken. Trauma can be passed down generationally and their experience of uncontrollable fear or suffering can stay with you in ways that you may not expect. While you may understand why you are disturbed by their story, you may not be aware of the impact that their intergenerational trauma has on you. With patience and support, healing from intergenerational trauma is possible. There may be moments when your mind and body react to recountings of stories of trauma from your parents or grandparents. It is also important to remember that healing is a process, and it is okay to take it one day at a time. Other resources include mindfulness practices, meditation, yoga, and writing exercises. In addition to therapy, there are a number of other resources that can help in the healing process. Therapy can provide a safe space to explore emotions and help develop healthier coping mechanisms. Once there is an understanding of the trauma, it is important to talk to a trusted mental health professional or therapist to help process the trauma and work towards healing. This knowledge can provide insight into how trauma affects current generations.Īlso read: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): Symptoms, Causes, Treatment It is helpful to learn about the history of the family and the experiences of previous generations. Furthermore, environmental and social factors also play a role in the development and transmission of intergenerational values, beliefs, and behaviours. Therefore, genetics and intergenerational transmission are closely intertwined, as genetics can influence the development and transmission of values, beliefs, and behaviours. In addition, parenting styles, educational experiences, and economic backgrounds can influence the development and transmission of intergenerational values, beliefs, and behaviours. For example, a person’s environment, such as their family and peers, can influence their behaviour, values, and beliefs. Research has shown that familial patterns of behaviour, values, and beliefs are linked to genetics, as well as environmental and social factors. Intergenerational transmission is the passing down of values, beliefs, and behaviours from one generation to the next. These events can cause long-term psychological, physical, and social effects that are passed down through generations. This can include physical and emotional trauma that is experienced through war, genocide, colonisation, displacement, cultural oppression, poverty, and discrimination. However, some people play a variation where you're allowed to move cards from the foundations back to the tableau. In the original Klondike rules, once you place a card on the foundation, you can't remove it. If you use that card, you can use the card below it. You can only play the top card of each set of three. For example, take the first three cards from the draw pile and lay them on the table face up, so only the third card is visible. One way to keep the game interesting is by trying out variations to the basic game. If you can't wait to get started, play the Klondike Solitaire game online for free right now! You've won the game. If you do this, you should probably only do it two additional times. ![]() To do this, take the cards in the discard pile and flip them over without shuffling them. However, some people allow themselves to go through the draw pile more than once. Once you've gone through all the cards in the draw pile, the game is over. You may play it later in the game if an opportunity presents itself. If you can't do anything with this card, place it face up on the discard pile. Take a card from the draw pile if you can't make any moves. Only kings can go in empty tableau columns. However, make sure every card below it remains partially visible. You can move tableau cards as a single unit to another column if the highest card is one lower and an alternate color to the card you're placing it on.Īnytime you transfer a card from one pile of the tableau to another, turn the card that has just been exposed face up. You can also take a tableau card and add it to another column if it follows the rules. It's perfectly okay to take a card from the tableau and put it on a foundation if you can. For instance, you can play the 10 of clubs on either the jack of hearts or the jack of diamonds. Place tableau cards in descending order and alternate colors. Each card in a foundation pile needs to be the same suit. Keep in mind that foundation cards need to be in ascending order, starting with an ace (the lowest card in this game). It's crucial that whenever you come across an ace, place it in one of the four foundation slots. That's because filling all four foundations is the object of the game. ![]() You start by looking at all the exposed cards and see if you can make any move. Your four foundations will be in the upper right of the tableau. Use the remaining cards to form a draw pile in the upper left of the tableau. In the second column, deal two cards, and in the third one, deal three cards, and so on. Make sure each stack has one more than the last.įor example, you'll deal one card to the first column (the leftmost one). Sorry to bother, as an apple dinosaur I should have thought much earlier to check what brew offers. Know I have to wait for analog lab or any standalone VST to start so easiest for quick sit down would be, switch the minifuse and midi devices ON (as written no other solution I know the switched hub ports) and if not playing with headphones, switch on monitors as well. The Mac is old white loads of ram (24) and is running catalina. Well I know the workarounds but that iMac and music station is my hobbieist setup. tried scripting Analog Lab, but so much hustle for a simple thing when done right in code. Well maybe, or even quite sure. Now when switching off the minifuse the Macs audio settings fall back to build in mic and speakers, but when powering on it sets the minifuse as default and auto switches to minifuse. BUT !!! in audio-midi-setup.app when the minifuse is plugged in (powered-on) I can right click the audio devices listed and assign wether it shall be used for audio IN / OUT, so to speak SET AS DEFAULT. The audio device acts different, it dissapears in audio-midi-setup.app when not powered on like the minifuse. 2 studio logic midi devices … always both simoultanoulslyĪnalog lab remembers / sees name it as you like the midi devices even when powered off, they are still listed in midi-studio and when they are active settings of analog lab checkmarks them, fine.the Krk monitors … easy, a simple AC switch in the power supply line.Ok one more thought not make things complicated.Īs described I need/want to switch each device seperately It doesn’t matter any order in wich I switch on the USB ports or wake the iMac, the moment Analog Lab is active and running, when the mac goes to sleep and wakes up again, ‘Build in Speakers’ is selected for Output and Midi none of the available is ticked,Īnalog Lab loses the Output & Midi settings always 100% and reproduceble in my case.įurther input … data, pics, screenshots, video required? please ask. And same for Midi, when entering Analog Lab settings it shows always ‘Build in Speakers’ selected for Output and for Midi it displays the 3 SL Mixface ports but none is selected / ticked. Waking from sleep the internal Mac speakers are always faster that the Minifuse and Analog Lab takes first active as it seems. Macs Midi-Stuido.app shows the MIxface is running but Analog Lab doesn’t remember the settings. The iMac has automatically swapped to Minifuse as standard Input Output device, fine. As the AI and midis are not used I switch of their ports on the USB hub.Įvening I wanna do another session and wake the iMac by a space-key-stroke, switch on the 2 USB ports for Minifuse and SL devices and … BANG. In Analog Lab I chose Minifuse as ouptput, the SL Mixface as midi and I am fine to run, play and practice piano.Īs I tend to put my Macs to sleep only and do not shut them down / restart thee for weeks, when my session comes to an end, I put my Mac to sleep and switch of the KRKs. 4/13/2024 0 Comments Halogen projector vs hid projectorLED lights do not waste energy as heat the way HID or halogen lights do which means you spend fewer resources to light the road. LEDs are also much more durable for outside use than HID lights which are more fragile. These bulbs generally produce light at 3,600 - 4,500 lumens depending on your selection while using even less wattage than the HIDs. Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are easier to install on your car than HID headlights and come with all the same (and even improved) benefits of less fuel consumption and brightness. A light at this brightness might be best for your fog lights however, the heat of a light burning at this magnitude creates a great deal of heat and could melt various parts of the lamp and its housing. If you wanted to choose a higher wattage light in the HID variety, 55 watts are available and put off five times the light of a halogen lamp at a whopping 5,000 lumens. You will also stand out more to oncoming traffic with brighter lights in clearer colors. Color matters when considering your night vision and what helps you navigate roads best in the dark. There are more color variations in the HID variety of light ranging from the familiar golden glow to a more blue tone. The light output of an HID headlight averages to 3,500 lumens which is approximately three times that of a halogen lamp. This type of light runs at approximately 20 watts less than the halogen lamp and is still much brighter. ![]() High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting is available in “plug and play” style kits using a 35 watt ballast. HID lamps are brighter and vary more in color The downside to this option is the higher wattage, the more fuel is required to power it. For improved visibility at night, the only way to stick with a halogen lamp is to use a higher wattage bulb. Halogen lamps give off a yellow tinged light. Most cars come with halogen lamps which tend to run at approximately 55 watts and emit between 900-1,000 lumens of light. ![]() If you want to know what all the fuss is about when wanting to upgrade your car lights, read on for a comparison of performance between halogen, HID, and LED car lamps. The headlight with which you have the most experience is most likely the standard halogen headlight and incandescent fog light bulbs. |
